Thinking (and Dreaming) of Spring

Mar 23, 2015 | Uncategorized

Despite a couple of “warm” days – I think it hit 50 degrees, Lupi and I are still dreaming of Spring’s arrival. We look forward to lazy days outside laying in the sunshine and watching the world go by from our spot behind the garden gate. There are some signs of spring around our neighborhood – longer days, birds chirping in the trees – but we hope and dream for more.

One sure sign of spring is the relaunch of our Garden Getaway Package here at the B&B. This offer starts May 1st and runs through the middle of October. This wonderful package includes discounted tickets to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens which is right up Route 1 in Boothbay. The Gardens are a beautiful place to spend a morning, afternoon or entire day exploring, learning and soaking in the beauty of the Maine coast. The package also includes a stay in our Garden Suite with a queen size bed, private bath and a private sitting room. The suite overlooks the patio gardens and our evolving side garden. Also included in the package is afternoon tea served on the patio and a special garden gift to take with you as a souvenir of your getaway. This package is a great way to enhance your vacation and all the details can be found on our Special Packages Garden Getaway page.

And to get you dreaming of spring here are some great shots from the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens from their Facebook page. Give their page a “like” and keep up on all that is blooming.
