Slowing It Down

Nov 21, 2017 | Uncategorized

Whew! Summer and Fall flew by and now we are slowing things down here at the B&B. Most people think more time to relax but that is not always the case. We are open year round and still have guests coming and going but not like the hectic busy season months. I am still greeting and picking up on my training of Picco, my new brother and our Greeter in Training. He has a ways to go but is friendly and loves meeting all the guests. If he has one fault he is too excited! But I will continue to work with him in the off season and make sure he knows the rules of being a good innkeeping dog.

Mark and Amy are keeping busy with things around the house – small projects, painting, putting the gardens to bed and soon decorating for the Christmas holidays once Thanksgiving wraps up. We are firm believers in one holiday at a time so our Thanksgiving guests get to enjoy all the beautiful fall decorations and then we will do the quick transition in 5 days from fall to a winter wonderland of snowmen, Santa, trees and all things Christmas. They are also taking some time away to re-energize so if you are booking time with us during the holidays make sure to do it soon.

Speaking of booking a stay – have you checked out our special packages? These are great getaways for the new year and the perfect way to treat yourself in January or February after the rush of the holiday season. Think about a Slumber Party for you and your friends or an overnight Poker Party at our beautiful B&B. We can customize these to your specifications. Just give us a call and we can plan something fun for you to look forward to in 2018!

Well, back to work for me. Looking forward to hearing from you soon or greeting you when you arrive!
