My New Sister, Tille
Here she is… I know you have all been waiting and despite what I said about being a good big brother this is harder than I thought. Tille (and we are spelling that with an “e” not a “y” as originally thought) arrived yesterday. She was an energetic ball of black fur after riding in the car for 3 1/2 hours. She tried to be friends immediately but I need some time to get used to this whole idea – I mean she drinks out of my water bowl and was playing with my toys! I haven’t shared for 9 years so I am a little slow on this. I did need to put her in her place once or twice with a nice low growl when she nipped at my nose – nothing too harsh just letting her know that I rule this roost. I am sure this will get easier within a couple more days and with guests checking in today and Amy and Mark’s great nephew coming to visit next week (he’s 1 1/2 years old) I really should just suck it up and be on my best behavior. I am going to try and I’ll let you know how it is going. Oh, and since I knew you would ask, here are a couple pictures of Tille. She doesn’t sit still too long and I am not ready to be photographed with her yet but, I have to admit, she is a cute little thing!
